Design: Sika Design
Concept: Sika-Design introduces the elegant Chill Armchair and accompanying footstool, designed by Nanna Ditzel in late summer 1961. Chill is almost a sculptural installation that elegantly integrates into the surroundings. The armchair and footstool have an organic design language with minimalist features that invite pure relaxation. Ditzel originally called the chair the Kaminstolen, and it was used in her private holiday home for over 40 years. The armchair is made of powder-coated aluminum, which is braided with Sika-Design ArtFibre. ArtFibre is a durable and weather-resistant material made of polyethylene. The chair therefore withstands both rain, frost and the sun's UV radiation, and can be left outside all year round without affecting the design or quality.
