Design: Santa & Cole
Concept: On a walk in Barcelona in the 1960s, designer Miguel Milá found an abandoned opal glass sphere in front of a glass factory. When he picked it up, the bullet became the heart of his Cesta family. As the name suggests (Spanish for "basket"), it was designed to hold this fragile piece. The opal glass, which has been liberated from its structure, now shines for itself and retains the elegance of a classic with a modern one.
The Cesta family consists of the Cesta, the table lamps , Cestita Batería, Cestita Alubat, Cesta Metálica and Cestita Metálica table the wall light , the Wally wall lamp and the Globo Cesta and Globo Cestita pendant lamps.
