Design: Magnus Læssøe Stephensen, 1935
Concept: 1935 was the year the first sketch of the armchair came into the world. The sketch was designed by the beloved architect Magnus Læssøe Stephensen and the chair has today been revived by Mazo as part of the TMBO series. Its relaxed but determined attitude, pays homage to life with the same dramatic simplicity that the designer found in Japanese design tradition. The strongly curved shape gives a promise of having one's back, while one leans back relaxed and looks to the future. The chair creates an elegance with its understated determination and provides a safe and comfortable atmosphere in the home.
