Halloween At Andlight

We’ve reached the end of October and with it comes Halloween, the tradition that makes spooky things rather cozy. Whether you are a big fan of the American holiday or you would rather call it All Saints Day, without too many pumpkins and ghosts, you can find inspiration for ambient lighting that fits right in to the winter theme.

We’ve collected some popular lamps with a warm and orange hue that can give you a different and unmatched ambient light for Halloween and the rest of the winter months.

Foscarini Caboche Gold

The iconic and Italian designed Caboche lamp is another lamp for beautiful and cozy winter lighting. The design, created by Patricia Urquiola and Eliana Gerotto for Foscarini , have a unique exterior and elevates the room wether it is turned off or on.
If you choose the lamp in the original gold color, you have another warm and golden light source for your interior.

Vitra Akari 1AY

Vitra’s handmade rice paper series Akari is eventually a well-known series by design lovers and the model 1AY is perfect for a Halloween theme.

The Akari 1A lamps are small rice paper lamps on a tripod. The designer Isamu Noguchi has made different patterns on the lamps and 1AY is with its orange paper a warm and cute light source. The lamp is very charming and the orange color is complemented by small figures of white.

The lamp is made up of bamboo rods, coated with traditional Washi paper, made from the bark of Mulberry trees. The entire Akari-series is marked with a signature from Noguchi and a sun and moon symbol in red.
The lamp can be used as a small floor lamp or a large table lamp and works perfectly as ambient lighting for Halloween.
