Artek celebrates 90 years, while Moomin marks 80 years since the publication of the first Moomin story. The Artek + Moomin collection celebrates the shared values ​​of inclusivity and community. Stool 60 Celebration is designed to welcome the unexpected guest, in the same informal and spontaneous way that Finnish hospitality is best lived.

The stool always provides an extra seat for the guest who suddenly stops by. It is decorated with Tove Jansson's illustrations, laser engraved on the seat and the bent wooden legs. The artwork is a fusion of doodle-like lines and handwritten texts from Jansson's early notebooks and Moomin stories, reminiscent of the quick scribbles on an old-fashioned school desk. To emphasize the nostalgic atmosphere, the reinterpreted Aalto stool is finished with a honey-colored finish that supports its vintage charm.
