Design: Tom Rossau
Concept: Tom Rossau TR36 Pendant Large White The self-taught Danish designer Tom Rossau began his career in his parents' basement. He had a great passion for LEGO, which sparked Tom's lively imagination. Tom Rossau's passion for design began in the 1990s when he opened his own shop in Copenhagen, designing and sewing leather clothing. However, since 2004 he has mainly been working with natural wood veneer. At first it was only possible to sell his uniquely beautiful lamps in his old shop on Istedgade in Copenhagen, but in 2006 the models TR4, TR5, TR6 and TR7 were presented to a wide audience at the furniture fair in Copenhagen, at which the TR7 won the award "The Audience Favorite".
Although his business continues to boom, Tom Rossau retains his original values and the core of the company. He found it a magical experience to watch the prototypes and materials develop during the design process. The entire design process gives him a kick and he finds inspiration all over the world. He also likes to get inspired by different material options. In fact, he believes that the material is the designer and he is simply the helper who puts the lamps together, screwing them together and fixing the ends.
Now the beautiful and elegant TR36 pendant by Tom Rossau is on the market. With its beautiful and idyllic material, the impressive TR36 offers a fascinatingly warm light for a cozy room. The new TR36 pendant fits perfectly into a Scandinavian interieur, as it offers warmth and homyness with its elegant shape. The pendant fits well over the dining table or in a cozy corner and is available in two sizes.
The TR36 is available in four lamp types and is produced as a pendant, as well as a floor, wall and table lamp. The TR36 series is made from polycarbonate, a flexible, white plastic.
