LYFA at Kolonien, Refshaleøen

2020 in Copenhagen, the iconic Danish brand saw the light again. LYFA's sculptural designs were relaunched and undiscovered designs created by the greatest Danish designers in history came to life.
The surroundings for the relaunch should reflect LYFA's design philosophy; Lightscapes - which have roots in the creation of good light and how to create spaces with differentiated light that makes sense in the surroundings.
The design exhibition at Kolonien, Refshaleøen, was for LYFA the perfect location, where light, organic forms and sustainable materials go hand in hand with their vision for design.
The location of the design exhibition during 3 days of design was curated by the international design duo GamFratesi. Kolonien was chosen as an exhibition space because the place and its surroundings represented an upcoming place full of creativity, which reflected LYFA's design history.
The open landscape at Kolonien was filled with light that surrounded 3 small wooden houses. The place was the ideal that showed how light can consist of many shades and shadows.
