Design: Bent Karlby for LYFA, 1971
Concept: ERGO Pendant
In 1971, when ERGO was first designed by Bent Karlby, the series was produced entirely in plastic. With the relaunch of ERGO, LYFA has chosen to bring the series into a more modern era by replacing the plastic elements, with colored and opalized glass. This upgrade gives the ERGO series a more luxurious expression but also adapts the series to a more modern home.
When the light shines through the milky white 3-layered opal core, as well as the darker colored exterior glass shade, you get a pleasant soft light.
The pendant is ideal over a dining table, or in the kitchen, and the
table lamp is perfect on the coffee table, or on the dresser in the living room. Both the table lamp and the pendant are available with a gray or sand-colored exterior glass shade.
