Design: Zsuzsanna Horvath for Luceplan
Concept: Luceplan Illan is a series of beautiful pendants with shades made of very thin, flexible plywood, cut by laser. The design was created by Zsuzsanna Horvath, a young Hungarian designer. The name Illan means "something temporary and fleeting" in Hungarian and suggests the idea of capturing the beauty of light and time. The lamp's ethereal and lively design changes shape and volume in step with the movement of the air. The lamps have an LED lightbulb, which creates a comfortable and relaxing diffused lighting. The lamps have a minimalist and discreet suspension system that contributes to the lamp's overall lightness. Illan is available in three different sizes.
