Fredericia's Søborg dining table chair is a robust and beautiful classic. With its simple, clean lines and the curved plywood seat, it is an excellent addition to, for example, the dinner table or restaurants. The chair owes its timeless appearance to its designer Børge Mogensen, who found his inspiration for the Søborg chair when in 1948, together with Hans Wegner, he participated in '' MoMa '', which was an international design competition. The Søborg chair originally came with a wooden frame, which was quickly followed by a model with a metal frame. Both are simple and elegant chairs, where the metal version is the lighter version due to the thin frame. Søborg is also available as a padded version.
