Design: Werner in 1936, Form & Refine
Concept: The elegant Shoemaker Chair from Form & Refine is a Danish classic that really focuses on high quality and Danish design traditions. Although the stool has a simple and minimalist look, there is a lot of work behind, every time, creating the perfect Shoemaker Chair. Each seat is made of a piece of solid wood which must be shaped exactly to achieve the highest seating comfort in each stool. As the seat is made of a piece of wood, the appearance, depending on the years in the wood, will vary for each chair, which helps to make each individual Shoemaker Chair completely unique. The chair was originally designed in Oddense back in 1936, and was then taken up in the 70's by the Werner family, who have since been behind producing and developing this fantastic design. The timeless stool will be easy to decorate and complement several different styles, and will be a durable piece of furniture for a long time. Shoemaker comes in three different heights, which makes it possible to use it in many different places in the home, by the kitchen island, as an extra space at the coffee table, or at the high bar area.
