Anour means light in Farsi. It is also the name of a young, Danish design company that was founded by architect Arash Nourinejad in 2007. He wanted to create lamps in the highest quality with the combination of uncompromising design and visionary functionality. The idea behind Anour was to further develop the best Danish tradition within lighting production. Anour produces innovative lamps with the newest LED technology. Every single lamp is produced with much focus on sustainable design, technology, and production. The Designer behind Anour

The Iranian-born architect, Arash Nourinejad, is the man behind Anour. Arash Hourinejad is educated from The Royal Danish Academy of Architecture in 2007. As part of his own private renovation in 2012, he developed a lamp that he presented at the BLIK FANG Fair, where the interest proved that a manufacturer should be found.

Anour - A developing design brand

Anour is a Danish design company founded in 2012 by Arash Nourinejad, who previously worked as an architect in Dubai before he became self-employed lamp designer. Since the beginning of the company, the workshop has only grown bigger due to the demand of the 100% Danish, handmade, and sustainable Anour lamps. Anour’s philosophy is to create timeless design that can be inherited. The vision behind the production is innovative, high functionality and rich in tradition.
