Design: Hvidt & Mølgaard for &Tradition, 1953
Concept: The Tripod the table lamp was designed in 1953 and reflects the pure minimalism that the old masters Hvidt and Mølgaard stood for. Tripod from &Tradition is made of lacquered steel, with small brass details. The lamp has an extremely elegant and light body, while the shade stands as a contrast with more fullness. Since the lamp's big brother, in the floor lamp version, has been a big hit at &Tradition, they have now managed to create the same design idea in a smaller format, so that it fits incredibly nicely in the window sill, on the desk or side table.
