and their
Danish premiere at Sun-Light of Love at the AndLight showroom
, we have in the AndLight showroom received the new whimsical Lumiere lamp of which only a narrow number have been produced. This edition is a relaunch in a new design that has just been launched for the table lamp's 30th birthday.
At AndLight, we are very excited to have the special edition, which can be seen in the showroom in Copenhagen until the end of the year.
Here is why we love the new table lamp
The new lamp both has a pure style and sculptural base. The lampshade's decorative, distinctive print makes the lamp a very special collector's item - not one print is identical. The glass is made of a special and historic glassblowing technique that has been used for more than several years which is why each lamp is one of a kind.
The two new editions of Lumiere are named Bulles and Pastilles, respectively, after their unique print on the lampshade. The new Lumiere base is created by hand from polished aluminium.
Although the lamp has its own, special identity, it is easy to style in most homes. The lamp's print in the glass is subdued and the sizes of the Lumiere lamps make it easy to incorporate in the decor and move around where ever you like at home.
Foscarini's
new table lamp is only produced in a small number of 1,100 lamps, each numbered and signed by the designer behind the iconic lamp series Rodolfo Dordoni.
The minimalist features of the new Lumiere lamp combined with the sculptural details make the lamp an eye-catcher without drowning out the rest of the home's furniture. The lamp base has its very own characteristic appearance that is easily recognizable and does not look like the usual table lamp.
The Lumiere glass screen is easily transparent and comes both as dimmable and with a switch (on / off).
