Exclusive Danish Premiere at the AndLight Store

Danish premiere of Foscarini's newest design at AndLight's showroom

From Monday the 26th of October, AndLight's showroom and shop will open for the Danish premiere of Foscarini's The Sun-Light of Love suspension lamp and the rest of the iconic collection.

In collaboration with Italian Foscarini, AndLight has decoratively exhibited the designer brand's latest addition lamp and their new relaunches in the store and showroom in Copenhagen. The launch of the new designer lamps from Foscarini is open to everyone and will be exhibited throughout the year.

From the middle of week 44, The Sun-Light of Love will transform AndLight's showroom into a whimsical and remarkable lighting experience. The Sun-Light of Love is designed by the Dutch industrial designer Tord Boontje, who - for the first time - has teamed up with Foscarini to design a sculptural lamp that can work in everything from the home's bedroom, kitchen or in the reception or office.

The new Foscarini suspension lamp is a beautiful piece of art, which is expressed in the idea of the sun as inspiration. The molten contours of the lamp do not consist of an end or a start and the 390 metal beams are cut into the lamp's so - called body. The lamp comes in a classic chalk-white version that suits the minimalistic home, while the lamp in gold is the epitome of designer Boontje's colour palette.

Designer Boontje is known for designing experimental products and creative works, which he has previously exhibited at e.g. the world's leading museums of art and design Victoria and Albert Museum in London and MoMA in New York.

In addition to The Sun-Light of Love lamp, Foscarini's new collection consists of 4 relaunches, including the table lamps Birdie Easy and Birdie Zero as well as Twiggy Wood, which now comes with a lampshade of fine, light wood. Finally, in connection with their series Lumiere's 30th birthday, Foscarini has created two limited-edition versions of the Lumiere lamp.

The two new versions of Lumiere are named Bulles and Pastilles respectively after their unique print on the lampshade, which has been made thanks to two historic Italian glassblowing. While the base of the lamp in aluminium is polished by hand. Only a number of 1,100 Bulles and Pastilles have been made, which are specially numbered and signed by the designer behind the lamp Rodolfo Dordoni.

All lamps from Foscarini's new collection can already now be found on here.
