Serge Mouille as designer

Serge Mouille was born in Paris in 1922. He was encouraged to apply to School of Applied Arts, and later became a professor at the school. He had his own studio, where he hand-painted all his lamps. He never used machine technique to maximize his production of lamps.

Serge Mouille established Société de Création de Modèles in 1961 to encourage young designers in metallurgy. Today, his family continues to follow Serge’s footsteps with new series.
