Design: Petite Friture
Concept: This designer aluminum chair stands out with its clean lines and unique character, and the suspension units under the seat give the chair a soft and extremely comfortable flexibility. The inspiration behind this design comes from Tom Chung's personal story. As an avid cyclist, he used to climb Mount Fromme outside Vancouver and was fascinated by the technical performance of his bike. He wanted to capture the efficiency he experienced with the bike, and thus reinvent the most common, yet greatest challenge for a designer: a designer chair. It is available as a dining chair, a bar stool and an armchair.
