Design: Tom Chung for Petite Friture
Concept: The Fromme dining chair was designed by Canadian designer Tom Chung, who was inspired by his personal experience of cycling. He cycled up Fromme Mountain just outside Vancouver and was fascinated by the level of technicality in his bike. He tried to incorporate this technique and efficiency into the most common object: a chair. This has resulted in several Fromme chairs, which, with a shock-absorbing effect under the seat, provide a high degree of comfort and flexibility, in addition to the fact that the chair can be used both indoors and outdoors. The Romme series from Petite Friture is a series of aluminum furniture that can be used indoors and outdoors. The fine details bring the different pieces of furniture in the series together beautifully and tie the indoor or outdoor space together in a unified, elegant and charming environment. The chair seats and table tops have the common feature of almost floating on the frame, as the assembly is done horizontally on the frame, which gives a slight finesse and level of detail that gives the series personality and charisma. note: It is only possible to purchase this product in sets of 2. This is because the original packaging contains this number from the supplier. It is also not possible to return part of the product.
