The chair is upholstered in Myr - a newly launched knitted textile from Kvadrat, made from 100% recycled polyester. With its irregular, three-dimensional structure and vibrant melange, Myr adds both visual depth and tactile character. The fabric stays tight over time and emphasizes the chair's sculptural expression.
With a clear focus on circularity, the Knit Armchair is designed for easy disassembly, so that the fabric, foam, wood and steel can be sorted and recycled separately after many years of use. In this way, the chair challenges traditional upholstery methods and ensures that sustainability and longevity are built into the design from the start.
