The FL/Y the pendant from Kartell is a modern design icon that combines simplicity, play of color and a touch of poetry. The lamp was designed by Ferruccio Laviani and is known for its characteristic dome shape, which with its almost floating expression creates a light and airy atmosphere in the room. The shape is simple and harmonious, but with a twist – the lampshade is not completely hemispherical, which allows the light to spread widely and softly into the room. The shade is made of transparent or colored acrylic and is available in a wide palette of shades, ranging from subdued natural tones to more lively and graphic colors. When the light is turned on, the material creates a beautiful glow and reflection, which provides both atmosphere and functional lighting. The simple suspension supports the light expression and makes FL/Y ideal over the dining table, in the living room or in a hall with high ceilings. The lamp's versatility and large color selection make it possible to adapt it to both minimalist and more playful interiors. It can be used individually for a clean expression or hung in clusters in different heights and colors for a more dynamic effect.
