The lamp has a beautiful and elegant design, which makes it essential as a pendant in that you can place its simple design almost anywhere. The elongated pattern gives it ample opportunity to cover round tables to perfection. Born in Connecticut, USA, George Nelson was one of the most influential figures in an incredibly young period in modern design. Studying at Yale as an architect, he believed that it was the designer's job to make the world a better place, using the perfection of nature's creations. He is one of the people behind the changes and course of world history. In another time outside his own, his designs are still being built and produced and the Nelson Bubble series is the latest response from HAY. With several of his designs at stake, the lamp series has already fallen into good stead at HAY.
