Concept: The V11 was originally designed back in 1965, and over time became one of Illum Wikkelsø's most successful designs. The V11 has now returned to production at Gubi, and to ensure that the original design is created precisely, Gubi has worked closely with Illum Wikkelsø's family. The armchair and Ottoman are a testament to Illum Wikkelsø's far-sighted and modern style as a designer. The exceptional craftsmanship and his dedication to comfort and flexibility are directly felt and made clear when you first sit in the chair. The V11 is designed with a trapezoidal body, resting on four slender, conical wooden legs in American walnut, creating a visual symphony together with the sharp angles of the armrests and backrest.
