Concept: The extremely attractive armchair designed by the young Mathias Steen Rasmussen is an armchair that exudes high quality design. The back and seat are handwoven from 90 meters of rope, using a technique that Mathias himself created. The elegant chair was originally only intended for Mathias' own home. The chair had to function as an armchair that you could also meditate in. This resulted in the beautiful MR01 Initial armchair. Armchairs manage to appear extremely light as the handwoven back and seat create an elegant and light expression, which makes the chair ideal for several places in the home. Two years after the design's debut, an MR01 armchair has now been created which is specially designed to be used outside on the terrace and in the lounge area. The chair's woven rope is made of a special polyester material, which is both waterproof and UV resistant, and makes it able to cope with long days in the sun, but it still makes good sense to treat the chair with care.
