Foscarini

Since its establishment in Venice in 1981, Italian Foscarini has revolutionized the Danish market with its classy and original designs, initially focusing on the versatile possibilities of murano glass. Over the years, Foscarini has evolved, now producing lamps in various shapes and materials while still maintaining a strong connection to murano glass. The company's broad and beautiful portfolio includes notable designs like the Foscarini Lumiere, Caboche, and Havana, with the Havana model gaining international recognition through its exhibition at New York City's Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). Foscarini collaborates with both established and emerging designers to set new trends, exemplified by Rodolfo Dordoni's Lumiere series, which stands out for its elegant glass shades and futuristic frames. Dordoni, an architect by training, has contributed to Italy's design landscape through lighting, furniture, and more. Foscarini's journey began on Murano Island near Venice, quickly ascending in the design lighting industry with innovative and creative solutions, now showcasing its philosophy in Milan and New York City showrooms. Among its founders, Carlo Urbinati and Alessandro Vecchiato have played pivotal roles in the brand's development since taking over in 1988, driving Foscarini to be a globally acknowledged brand in design lighting.
