The Tafta the floor lamp is a calm but striking design, where textile, proportions and light work together in a balanced whole. The design was created by Rune Krøjgaard in 2024 and stems from an ambition to give textile materials a more architectural presence in the room. The large, round shade surrounds the lightbulb and filters the light softly and evenly, so that it is experienced as pleasant and atmospheric without dominating. The volume of the lamp is deliberately balanced so that it appears light and floating despite its size, and it functions both as functional lighting and as a sculptural element in the interior design. The Tafta the floor lamp adds warmth, texture and visual calm to the room and is created to naturally fit into both private living spaces and more open, architectural environments.
