Bakku means bag in Japanese and has a soft organic shape, reminiscent of a collapsible sack. Each vase is mouth-blown glass formed in a custom-made mold, after which the edge is cut and polished. Finally, it is spray-painted in Smoked Forest with deep brownish tones or Smoked Desert in a light warm gray. As each vase is handmade, they vary in shape and may have small air bubbles, making each one unique. The series is available in two sizes, where the small is suitable for flowers on the table or as an elegant detail and the large one can stand alone or highlight branches and flowers as a striking centerpiece. Designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl.
