As an e-commerce market leader of designer lighting in Europe, AndLight reached yet another year of record-high sales during their Black Friday. Now, the company is confident that a revolution has begun in the everyday home of the consumer as the demand for designer lighting continues to increase rapidly.

Prior to Black Friday, AndLight also experienced a growth of 300% in sales across their European markets which resulted in the company having special delivery pick-ups assigned to ship a large number of packages.


AndLight is experiencing a growing interest from customers wanting to decorate their home with designer lighting. Here, increased demand can be reported across all markets, including the company’s latest market entries such as the United Kingdom, France and the Netherlands.

This is perceived as a result of consumers spending more time in their homes due to COVID-19 creating a desire to invest in quality designs that can create the perfect atmosphere. An investment they seek to make at a discount during the Black Friday sales. “We experience that the ongoing pandemic has caused people to spend more time at home and, as a result, leaving them with a desire to improve their home environment. At the same time, we see that the pandemic has caused more people to choose to shop online rather than in physical stores,” CEO and partner Mads Saabye Jørgensen adds.


This year the customers are prioritizing to upgrade their home and this has had an impact on AndLight’s remarkable sales record during Black Friday. Customers are focused on adding an aesthetic and quality aspect to their home that AndLight can offer.

When asking the lighting company, a general trend has emerged across their European markets. This trend has created a revolution in the overall decoration of people’s homes, caused by the global pandemic which has led people to find their preferred style of home decoration.

At the same time, customers are starting to realize the importance of having quality light at home. AndLight has been able to trace this upcoming trend throughout the last couple of months of increase in sale. Precisely for this reason, the company invested heavily in innovative digital solutions such as a new virtual 3D showroom, where customers can experience the feeling of seeing the lamp in real life regardless of their physical location, time and date.
