Design: Vipp, 2022
Concept: All Vipp products are designed to convey the Scandinavian modern philosophy, a lifestyle that emphasizes quality, simplicity and functionalism. The 488 Cabin armchair does this in a number of different ways. Its charming design is easy to handle and has a solid oak frame, a soft leather seat and a paper wicker backrest. The armchair is perfect to sit back in and relax after a long day, as it always delivers a high degree of comfort and finesse. An essential detail that helps to make the chair unique is the "floating" seat, which is mounted on the legs, so you can not see the collection from the outside. It gives the effect that the chair appears to be produced from a single piece of wood, which helps to complete this aesthetically well-executed armchair.
