Design: Petite Friture
Concept: The world-renowned Vertigo lamp, created by award-winning Constance Guisset, created large excitement in the design industry when it was launched as Petite Friture's first lamp creation in 2009. It quickly became a classic and also won the Audience Award at the Design Parade de la Villa Noailles in the year of launch. Guisset has put a lot of thought into this design and every single detail is well thought out and measured with precision. For example, the lamp is made of a light material that causes the lamp to wave when wind comes through the room. In addition, the lightbulb is placed in a small basket, which, together with the shade , creates a nice shadow play on the ceiling and wall when the lamp is switched on. The lamp is available in 6 different colours, each with their own distinctive expression. The lamp is available in two sizes. The vernacular design is designed to work in all kinds of rooms - both large and small. Some may find it nice above the bed in the bedroom. Others will use it in the kitchen, in the living room or perhaps in a larger hall. With the Vertigo lamp, you get a genuine, French design icon that will please most design lovers.
