![]() Read more about Örsjö Örsjö is more than just a name. It is also in the small town located in Småland, where it all started. For more than 70 years, the proud family-owned company, Örsjö, has had their own local production. It has proven to be the key to producing quality lighting, and even sustainably. All their products are developed and produced in their own local factory in the city, and also use local craftsmen for all their production. Together with recognized designers such as Jonas Bohlin, Folkform, Pierre Sindre, and Matti Klenell, Örsjö has established itself as one of Sweden's leading brands in lighting. The Kvist collectionThe Kvist collection was designed by Jonas Bohlin, who got his great inspiration for the Kvist collection from the beautiful birch trees we find in nature. A collection consisting of the most beautiful pendants, floor lamps and ceiling lights which has almost become a signature collection for Örsjö. Adjustable lighting units are a common denominator for the collection, which help to contribute to the lamps' high functionality. Raw materials such as brass, copper and metal are common materials, not only for this collection, but for all of Örsjö's production. ![]() Jonas BohlinOne of the designers who has left the biggest mark in Örsjö is the renowned Swedish designer, Jonas Bohlin. Among other things, Jonas Bohlin has enriched us with the beautiful lamp collection Kvist, which has gradually become the signature collection for Örsjö. Since 1983, he has worked with glass, textiles, art objects, installations and furniture and lighting design, and has therefore built up a large of experience and expertise within these. Bohlin's acclaimed work has garnered countless awards and has been exhibited worldwide. ![]() SustainabilityÖrsjö has put a lot of effort into working towards sustainability, which applies to both their design and production. By using sustainable materials and dimensions, producing locally and designing products so that they are easy to recycle, Örsjö has been able to limit the impact they have on the environment. They want their manufactured products to stand the test of time and leave the best possible impression on people's lives. ![]() |
