Design: Simon Legald for Normann Copenhagen

Concept: With the goal of creating a chair with a fully molded look that naturally integrated the seat and frame, Simon Legald has designed the Form chair for Normann Copanhagen. The original chair was designed without upholstery and was later updated with a number of beautiful upholstery. Through an innovative and stylish solution, where the legs were mounted in four molds at the bottom of the seat, Normann Copenhagen has achieved this elegant cohesion between seat and legs. It gives a feeling that the legs almost grow out of the seat, which highlights the high craftsmanship quality in the design. The soft shapes and the minimalist design give a nice and timeless element to the fine details and since the chair comes in different variants of bar stools and dining table chairs, it can be used in many places in the home and give a beautiful Nordic mark to the decor.
