Flos 2097 Chandelier 58’

The 2097 Chandelier was designed in 1958 by master designer Gino Sarfatti, who is world famous for his lamp designs. The 2097 is an example of a modern version of a chandelier with a stylish design. Flos Lampadina Table Lamp 72’

The Lampadina table lamp was originally designed in 1972 by Achille Castiglioni - a renowned industrial designer who was often inspired by everyday objects.

Flos 265 Wall Lamp 73’

The 265 wall lamp was designed by Paolo Rizzatto in 1973 and marked the Italian architect’s first foray into product design and lighting. It was also one that set the basis for a wider thinking into objects and illumination.

The design of Rizzatto’s 265 is as simple and intuitive as it is technical and precise: a suspended wall lamp comprising a head and weight, each balanced at the extremities of an adjustable arm, and attached to the wall in an asymmetric position .

In Rizzatto’s design, each part featured a specifically chosen primary colour, each defined a key element of the design: the head, the most important element, was drawn in red, the weight was yellow and the connecting arm, blue.

Flos IC Light family 14’

The IC Lights family is one of the newer product families from Flos. Designed by Michael Anastassiades in 2014 the design features a stem, and on top, or below, as if in a balancing act, a glass sphere that projects the light outwards in a delicate equilibrium at the end of a slanting baton.

This collection explores balance which can be seen in the composition of the design that takes the basic form of a sphere perfectly balanced on the edge of a rod.
