The Pacha armchair from GUBI, designed by Pierre Paulin in 1975, is an iconic piece of furniture with soft, organic shapes, where proportions and comfort are conceived as a unified whole. The rounded volumes give a sculptural and inviting expression, which at the same time appears calm and balanced in the space.

The design has been developed with a focus on a lower seating position, where the chair is slightly lifted from the floor and creates a more relaxed way of sitting, while the fully upholstered construction shapes around the body and provides enveloping comfort.

The overall design is soft and coherent, with stitching and details emphasizing the curved lines and giving the chair a precise and well-crafted expression. The combination of construction and materials ensures both stability and a comfortable sitting experience.

The expression is full of character without being dominant and adds a warm and relaxed atmosphere to the room, where design and comfort merge into a natural whole.
