Design: Christian Dell for Fritz Hansen.
Concept: Kaiser Idell lampeserien is a timeless and beautifully designed lamp in the original Bauhaus style. The characteristic shade is famous for the Kaiser Idell lamp. "ORIGINAL KAISER-Idell" is engraved and adorns the charismatic shade. All Kaiser-Idell lamps are produced in steel and brass, whereas all shades are hand lacquered in full gloss or mat paint. All of the chromium-plated parts are produced in hand polished and silver brazed brass. The Kaiser Idell series includes two different table lamps, two different floor lamps, a pendant, and a wall lamp. All models are available in black, mat black, and white, though certain models are available in green and red, too. Christian Dell (1893-1974) designed the very first models in the Kaiser-Dell series in 1926, in 1926 they went into production and in 1936 they were launched. One of the first and most recognized models of the Kaiser-Idell series is the 6631 Luxus. The 6631 Luxus represents Germanic design, German quality and thoroughly work.
