The design on this lamp is inspired by ship design and this is no surprise, knowing that Utzon’s father was a ship engineer and designed parts for large hangar ships.

Arne Jacobsen

In collaboration with the design collective Space Copenhagen, &Tradition has created 2 beautiful, portable lamps that celebrate the classical and warm feel.

SC53
is made from darkened brass and has a mushroom shape with a downwards facing light. The complete expression feels exclusive and the warm, brown brass matches dark wood and masculine interior perfectly.
In contrast, the
SC52
carries a canvas screen that gives a
360-degree light
and offers a bit of lightness to the design. Whether you use the lamps individually or in combination, they can give new life and new possibilities to your interior. Both lamps have a

The new HM8 floor lamp - Designed in 1953, presented in 2020
In the end of 2020, &Tradition presented their novel design
HM8
that was designed by Hvidt & Møller all the way back in 1953.
The design was initially put on a shelf and never went into production. That was, until &Tradition found the design and decided to launch the beautiful floor lamp, so the design could finally come to life.
The result is a timeless lamp with a classical feel that works well as a reading light in the living room. The base consists of a ball and two feet that merge with the main structure in an elegant manner.
The lamp is available in

maroon
or
moss-green
, so it can easily be accompanied by other of &Traditions newest models with the same color theme.
